Locations

Updated 1 Oct 2026

One call lists every active location, with whether each is online. Their ids are what HOME_POP on a zone and NODE on the statistics call take, and what X-CDN-Location on every response reports.

List locations#

GEThttps://api.cachegenie.com/v1/nodes
curl https://api.cachegenie.com/v1/nodes \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY"
{
  "CODE": 200,
  "MESSAGE": "CDN Nodes Returned.",
  "DATA": {
    "CDN_NODES": [
      {
        "ID": "alpha1",
        "LOCATION": "Alpha City, XX",
        "ONLINE": 1,
        "SERVERS": 1,
        "SERVERS_ONLINE": 1
      },
      {
        "ID": "beta1",
        "LOCATION": "Beta City, XX",
        "ONLINE": 1,
        "SERVERS": 1,
        "SERVERS_ONLINE": 1
      }
    ]
  }
}
  • IDStringthe location id, a short lower-case code. Stable: it is what a zone's HOME_POP and HOME_POP_LOCATION hold.
  • LOCATIONStringthe place's name.
  • ONLINEInteger1 when at least one server there is in service and has reported within the last few seconds. A zone whose Home PoP reads 0 fetches from its origin directly until it is back.
  • SERVERSIntegerhow many servers stand in the location.
  • SERVERS_ONLINEIntegerhow many of them are online.

Only active locations are listed, a location with no server online included. The path is /v1/nodes for compatibility; what it lists is locations. The Status API shows the locations the status page lists, with their uptime, and needs no key.

Edge addresses#

GEThttps://api.cachegenie.com/v1/edges

The addresses a request from us reaches your origin from, for a firewall rule or a security group. No key is needed.

curl https://api.cachegenie.com/v1/edges
{
  "CODE": 200,
  "MESSAGE": "Edge addresses returned.",
  "DATA": {
    "IPV4": ["203.0.113.10", "203.0.113.20"],
    "IPV6": ["2001:db8::10", "2001:db8::20"],
    "ALL": ["203.0.113.10", "203.0.113.20", "2001:db8::10", "2001:db8::20"]
  }
}
  • IPV4Arrayevery IPv4 address, sorted.
  • IPV6Arrayevery IPv6 address, sorted.
  • ALLArrayboth, IPv4 first.

The same list as plain text, one address per line and nothing else: https://cachegenie.com/edges.txt, https://cachegenie.com/edges-ipv4.txt and https://cachegenie.com/edges-ipv6.txt. An address joins the list before the location behind it serves and leaves it only after that location is retired for good, so a firewall that re-reads the list once a day is never ahead of us. It covers every location, including one that is down or being worked on.
